Mulled Apple Cider
Place 1 gallon apple cider, 3 cinnamon sticks, 12 whole cloves, zest of 1 orange (peeled in large strips), and 5 pink lady apples (quartered) in a large pot, and warm over medium-low heat. Let steep for 1 1/2 hours, without boiling.
Combine 1/2 cucumber (sliced), 1 lemon (sliced), 2 sprigs rosemary, 1 handful thyme and 1 handful mint with 12 ounces of cool water and enjoy.
Dark ’n Stormy
This refreshing classic cocktail from Bermuda only takes two ingredients—combine 2 ounces dark rum and 4 ounces ginger beer in a tall glass filled with ice.
Combine 3/4 ounce light rum, 3/4 ounce vodka, 1/2 ounce Blue Curacao liqueur, 3 ounces pineapple juice, 1 ounce sweet and sour mix and blend with ice for an alluring tiki cocktail.
Combine 3 fresh mint sprigs, 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, 1 ounce simple syrup, 2 ounces white rum and 1 1/2 ounces club soda. Pour over ice and enjoy.
Combine 1 750-ml bottle red wine, 1/4 cup triple sec, 1/4 cup brandy, juice of 3 limes, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 oranges (sliced), 2 limes (sliced), 2 lemons (sliced) and 1 cup cold seltzer in a large pitcher and chill.
Combine juice of 2 medium-sized oranges, 1 1/2 ounces vodka, 1 ounce orange liqueur and lemon lime soda to enjoy this tasty citrus cocktail.
